Campbell’s Condensed Soup is a household name. Many of us enjoy or have tasted at least one can of these super quick and tasty soups. I remember they were such a treat back in the tropics where I grew up. Since creamy soups were seldom ever cooked at home, Mom sometimes bought a can or two of tomato and cream of mushroom soup so that we could have it with our “westernized” meals.
Fast forward to today, my own boys also enjoy Campbell’s Condensed Soup. Ro-Jiro, my youngest son is more than delighted to have a can of creamy soup especially on cold days. I used to make it for him, but now he is old enough to prepare it himself. 🙂 He likes to add some milk to make it extra creamy. Sometimes kids can be really picky about what they want to eat for no apparent reason. They may like a certain dish today, but tomorrow they have suddenly developed an aversion towards it. Don’t sweat it! Picky eaters have finally met their match! With the help of The Wisest Kid in the Whole World™, Campbell’s soup is offering delicious recipes your kids won’t be able to refuse. Campbell’s Condensed Soups are also great for cooking and I am going to share my boys’ favorite Creamy Mushroom Cheese Fondue with you today. As a family we have always been very fond of hotpots and fondues. It is a great way to spend quality family time around the table. When Ro-Jiro was little, he would call the fondue “fun food”. 🙂 Fondues really are fun food as they are so much fun to eat. What kid would not love to pierce the food with a long skewer and dunk it in their favorite dip? Since cheese fondues are often made with wine, I came up with the idea of using their favorite Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup with the addition of shredded cheese for the dip.
