Today I am honored to do a guest post for the charming and witty Denise of Quickies on the Dinner Table. Denise writes an amazing blog with exciting and creative recipes. Her ability to whip up quick and tasty dishes from whatever ingredients she pulls out from her pantry and fridge is inspirational. Her posts are a joy to read. You may want to check out her cookbook.
The recipe I am going to share today is a fusion of a Southeast Asian dessert and the American pie. I used one of Denise’s favorite ingredients, the pandan which is a tropical plant with long, narrow, blade like, very aromatic leaves. Kick back and savor the recipe.
I would like to take this opportunity to announce a milestone since the inception of Roti n Rice. Today marks my 100th post after 4½ months of blogging! It has been an exciting and often frantic time of planning, cooking, photographing, and writing. Thank you for taking the time to read and leaving comments. The thoughts behind the comments are deeply appreciated.
Now, let us go and read the guest post over at Quickies on the Dinner Table.
Enjoy…..and have a wonderful day!
