Craving for something spicy and so we had this for dinner last night. Trying to “train” my boys to have a more spicy palate. The elder likes curries but the younger prefers milder flavors. Fortunately, they both loved the Roti Canai.

Roti Canai (Pratha)

This is store bought, but it’s the real stuff! No problems getting it here in the Upper Midwest as it comes frozen. We always have a stock of it in the freezer. It goes straight into the pan from the freezer and in a couple of minutes you have a flaky roti.

The complete meal….. Roti Canai, tumeric basmati rice, chicken curry, pickled cucumber, carrots, pineapple, and mango chutney (from a jar). I microwaved some papadums to go with the Chicken Curry, Roti n Rice. Yummy-o!

At this time of the year in the Upper Midwest, almost EVERYTHING is frozen, not just the roti….:D

Haha! That's so true! Time to turn off the fridge in the garage and set up the outdoor freezer 🙂
