25 Festive Dishes for the Season with appetizers, salads, main dishes, side dishes, desserts, cakes, and cookies to choose from.

This is a busy time of the year as family and friends gather for the holidays. There is nothing like the aroma of baked cookies and happy chatter to fill even the coldest of winters with the warmth of cheer. We are glad that this time we are having warmer than usual temperatures for December, a wonderful respite after last year’s bitterly cold Christmas.

I have put together some of my personal holiday favorites in this 25 Festive Dishes for the Season. Many are relatively simple to prepare and require only a few ingredients. At our home, the vote is unanimous. The main dish will be Rib Eye Roast. I have a beautiful chunk of boneless rib eye in the refrigerator waiting to be roasted. There is also a bag of fingerling potatoes in the pantry to be turned into Pan Fried Smashed Fingerling Potatoes. I do hope you find some dishes in the line-up below for your holiday table.
